This Warranty is additional to and does not replace any other rights enjoyed by the end user (customer) of the product and, in particular, in no way affects the customer's rights established by UK regulations implementing Directive 1999/44/EC.
1 - GENERAL RULES
Duration: in accordance with that established below, HAIER Europe Trading S.r.l. offers its customers a 12-month warranty on refrigerators, freezers, washing-machines, dishwashers, dryers wine coolers and microwave starting from the product purchase and/or delivery date.
Territory: This Warranty is valid only for services under Warranty to be provided in UK and only concerns HAIER brand products marketed by HAIER EUROPE in UK.
Validity: The receipt and/or purchase invoice and/or transport documents relevant to delivery of the product to the customer are the only documents giving the right to the services under this warranty and must be produced, together with the duly filled in original HAIER EUROPE warranty certificate, when requesting the service. HAIER EUROPE reserves the right not to fulfil the obligations under this warranty if the information or data on the purchase and/or product delivery documents has been altered or erased after purchase by the customer or is missing at the time of requesting the service.
2 - LIMITATIONS
This Warranty does not include:
Periodical checks or maintenance free of charge or reimbursement of costs incurred to perform them.
Repairs or replacements free of charge or refund of the purchase price for products with faults due to neglect and/or improper use and not respecting that stated in the user's manual accompanying the product at the time of sale, or due to lightning, weather phenomena, over voltages and over currents, insufficient or irregular electric power supply, incorrect use or non-compliance with the technical and/or safety requirements in the country where the appliance is used, and compensation for any damage caused by such products.
Repairs or replacements free of charge or refund of the purchase price to remedy faults due to product installation not complying with that stated in the installation manual accompanying the product and/or caused by operations or modifications to the product carried out by unauthorised assistance centres, without the authorisation of HAIER EUROPE, and compensation for any damage caused by such products.
Costs for disassembly, uninstallation of new products, found to be damaged on opening the packing.
Additional costs deriving from work to be done with ladder trucks, scaffolding or other lifting systems.
Compensation for accidental damage or damage resulting from loss, non-use of the product, damage caused by loss of information, stored by the customer in any form, food loss.
Cost of accessories such as shelf's, egg boxes, bottle rack missing or received damaged after 7 days from end user purchase date.
3 - CONDITIONS OFFERED AND PROCEDURE FOR ACTIVATING THE ASSISTANCE SERVICE (LARGE ELECTRIC APPLIANCES)
Refrigerators, freezers, washing-machines, dishwashers, dryers and wine coolers are covered by a home warranty.
Customers having one of these products with a technical problem or fault (except for new products, found damaged on opening the packing - refer to point 5) can activate the assistance service by calling the telephone number 0845 077 7750 or email to
ku.oc.stcartnocmtj@haierecivres or consulting the "assistance-service" or "Assistance centres" page of the HAIER EUROPE website (http://www.haiereurope.com), to find out the address of their nearest Electric Appliance Assistance Centre.
The assistance centre will go to the customer's home to repair the product. Whenever the repair cannot be carried out at the customer's home, the assistance centre will arrange to have the faulty product collected from the customer and returned after repair, using its own vehicles or a carrier having arrangements with HAIER EUROPE (refer to the limitations in point 2). The HAIER EUROPE authorised assistance centre will appraise the solution to be adopted according to the extent of the product defect.
If the product has a serious defect whose cost of repair borne by HAIER EUROPE approaches the value of a new product, the assistance centre, in agreement with HAIER EUROPE, will replace the entire product; otherwise, it will make the repair, changing the faulty parts.
Products or parts that are identical or have the same characteristics can be used for replacement.
If the above solutions cannot be applied, HAIER EUROPE will refund the customer the purchase price. In which case, HAIER EUROPE will establish the refund value, taking account of the state of wear of the product.
The service for the customer is entirely free if the product is found to be faulty.
If the product is not found to be faulty, the costs of labour for the intervention, collection at the customer's home and possible product transport costs can be charged to the customer by the assistance centre.
4 - CONDITIONS OFFERED AND PROCEDURE FOR ACTIVATING THE ASSISTANCE SERVICE (MICROWAVE OVENS)
Customers having one microwave oven with a technical problem or fault can activate the assistance service by calling the telephone number 0845 077 7750 or email to

5 - NEW PRODUCTS FOUND DAMAGED ON OPENING THE PACKING
New products that, when first opening the original HAIER EUROPE package, the customer finds to have been damaged during transport must not be installed (refer to the limitations in point 2) or sent/taken to an assistance centre for repair. For the management of these cases, end-customers must contact the dealer who, depending on the case, will provide the customer with the most appropriate solution, in agreement with HAIER EUROPE.
